Phở with shrimp

Phở has its origins in Vietnam, where they take no less than two days to make the broth and sometimes even consume a bowl of phở for breakfast.

No wonder, then, that phở has become increasingly popular in The Netherlands. This variant is ready to serve in no time, thanks to our phở curry paste!


For 2 people: 

  • Koh Thai currypasta for Pho soup: 1-2 el
  • Koh Thai rice noodles: 2 nests
  • Red pepper: 1
  • Shrimps: 100 g
  • Taugé: 100 g
  • Fish sauce: to taste
  • Cilantro & mint: to taste

Preparation method

Step 1: Add 1-2 tbsp curry paste to a pot and fry for 1 minute. Then add half a liter of water and bring to a boil.

Step 2: Add the shrimps and bean sprouts, let it cook for 5 minutes. At the last minute, add the rice noodles along with the fish sauce.

Step 3: Serve in two bowls with fresh coriander, mint and chopped red chilli.
