Red curry

A curry that you can make in an easy way. You can adjust the curry to everyone’s taste to vary with the ingredients. This curry can also be made in advance.


The Koh Thai Red Curry paste is a 100% natural Thai herb paste is based on red peppers, lemongrass and a bit of cardamom.


The color and taste get this curry paste of dried red peppers. The red curry paste is slightly milder and rounder than the green curry paste.


For 2 people:


  • Koh Thai red curry paste : 2 tbsp
  • Mushrooms : 250 g
  • Red pepper : 1
  • Peas : 150 g
  • Koh Thai coconut milk : 165 ml
  • Shrimps : 200 g

Preparation method


Step 1: Cut the mushrooms and the bell pepper into pieces.


Step 2: In the meantime, heat the curry paste briefly in a wok pan or frying pan with 1 tablespoon of oil. Add the shrimp and cook for 1-2 minutes. Then add the mushrooms and peppers and cook for 3 minutes.


Step 3: Add the coconut milk together with the peas and bring the whole to the boil while stirring. Let it simmer gently until the vegetables are tender.


Serving suggestion: Serve the red curry with Pandan / Jasmine rice. For an extra bite add chopped spring onion and unsalted peanuts.
