Thai hamburgers with Sriracha mayonnaise

Hamburgers the Thai way? That’s easier than you think! The burgers get a delicious spicy taste through the Panang curry paste. With the homemade Sriracha mayonnaise, you spice the burgers to taste.

Ingredients

For 4 persons:

For the burgers:

  • Ground beef : 300 g
  • Onion : 1/2
  • Panko: 2 tbsp
  • Koh Thai Fish sauce : 1 tbsp
  • Koh Thai Panang curry paste : 3 tbsp

For the garnish:

  • Red cabbage finely chopped : 50 g
  • Finely chopped white cabbage : 50 g
  • Carrot: finely chopped : 50 g
  • Coriander : 1 bunch
  • Lime : 1
  • Olive oil : 1 tbsp

Remaining: 

  • Mayonnaise : 4 tbsp
  • Koh Thai Sriracha : 1 tbsp
  • (Hamburger) sandwiches : 4

Preparation method:

Step 1: Finely chop the onion. Mix all the ingredients for the burger in a bowl and knead well together. Divide the minced meat into four portions and make four hamburgers about 2 cm thick.

Step 2: Squeeze the lime, mix the juice with the other ingredients for the garnish and set aside. Cut the buns in half and grill briefly if necessary. Mix the mayonnaise and Sriracha together and set aside.

Step 3: Heat a pan with oil. Fry the burgers on both sides brown in the pan, until the burgers are completely cooked.

Step 4: Siege the sandwiches with a hamburger. Divide the garnish and finish with the Sriracha mayonnaise.
